Project requirements: Construction of a greenhouse using automated technology and long autonomy through an big capacity external silo. The project requirements is heating of a 5.000 square meters greenhouse by using as much automatization possible, wihout the need of human supervision.
Solution offered by THERMOSTAHL:
To satisfy the project requirements, our proposal was installation of a MLC-BIO 500 biomass boiler, with power 580 kW. In order to offer long autonomy and as little as possible human interaction for the boiler function, we chose to offer a big capacity external silo of 10 cubic meters with a fuel feeder, automated by means of a level sensor, whcih assures constant fuel level at the boiler silo.
Considering the size and importance of this project, THERMOSTAHL was implicated from the design phase of the heating installation, providing the layout plan and delivering all necessary equipment: boiler, external silo, fuel feeder, level sensor automatization, external silo filling auger.
